• Since September 2006 VLACHAKIS EGGS has been in partnership with SEEPA, the Special Vocational Training Center; a recognized charitable organization promoting training, employment opportunities and social integration to young people with intellectual disabilities over 25 years now.
• We assigned to students of SEEPA the design of the packaging of our products. These unique works of art were released in 2006 as creative labels decorating our “6 Junior EXTRA FRESH Eggs ” packaging.

• Through these works of art the students of SEEPA are able to express their standpoint and feelings, feel proud and share with the public. VLACHAKIS EGGS has been standing by every action of the Special Vocational Training Center, offering at the same time the consumers the opportunity to support its work; we allocate part of our revenues for building the first autonomous housing development for the intellectually disabled SEEPA broke the ground

Environment

We make life-cycle assessment; we calculate and evaluate our carbon footprint by marking it on the packaging. We offset our carbon footprint in our carbon-neutral “CHOICE” eggs by funding projects in third world countries.
We actively participate in recycling.
Pioneering in poultry husbandry VLACHAKIS EGGS is an active member of the Hellenic Recovery Recycling Operation (He.R.R.Co.) playing a primary role in alternative packaging waste management. Collective Alternative Management System – “RECYCLING” (C.A.M.S. – RECYCLING) is directed at everyone dealing with packaging. It ensures equal and free participation for all parties and allows optimal regulatory compliance by effectively reducing their impact on the environment.
Today over 1720 businesses –covering a vast array of sustained activity- have joined in the Collective Alternative Management System – “RECYCLING” (C.A.M.S. – RECYCLING) and contribute to the control of the largest percentage of waste packaging management, by virtue of their volume and number.

Environmental protection and harmonious coexistence between man and nature being core to our business activity, we have taken up a series of initiatives to promote the laws of nature and consumer health.
